    the new year
So most of us seem to have lived through and survived the new year and aparantly partied hard and such as we do every new years. aparantly this one was no different i dont know i wasnt even awake. this new years was one of those ones that had an arward dampener on it i had been to a funeral that day and by 9.00 pm i just wasnt really in the mood to do anything but sleep so i just went to bed sohow like alot of people which i thought was intersting. new years is one of those nights were you have to gear up for it and then be in the mood at time otherwise you just dont have a good time i spose.

i bet there are a lot of sore heads this morning and a lot of short lived new years resolutions i made myself a list of ones which i want to achieve and it is my intention to do them all as well as they are all realistic and totally achievable so here is hoping anyway thats all for now

    Living in the Counrty
You know how people say that the country life is so peaceful, well for the most part i think they are right if you were born in the country or have some disorder which means you need to take a serious look at life and move to something more relaxing, however if your a townie like me who has never lived anywhere apart from the city the country can be a really boring place to live, i mean sure it is quiet peaceful and i dont have to worry. I have found that you miss a lot of things the major one being constant noise that is every type of noise from traffic to people, i mean there is cars driving past at 100kph but thats not really traffic or what in the city you could define as traffic, the thing i miss most i think is having another human being to talk to no offence to the dog but she not very good company in the area of holding down a conversation.

I know that i am only 10-15 minutes away from the city but all my mates live on the other side so it takes a good 30-40 minutes to go and see them and if i do decide to go into town then i need something to do its not like i can just get into the car and drive i need to go somewhere and with the price of petrol is not very economical either anyway the rain has stipped temporarilly so i can go and put my washing in the garage and not get drenched

tune in next time when i rant some more about life in the country for a townie
